A visit to smiles dental with Dr. Lauren. As expected it was another great experience. Dr Lauren is an excellent dentist. No hesitation in recommending her.

I’m visiting Galway from the States and recently experienced a failure of one of my veneers. It came off fairly complete, and fortunately i didn’t swallow it! Unfortunately, it was from a tooth right at the lower front and I was anxious to get it repaired in some way. My friend called her dentist and they recommended Gate Dental Clinic. I was so grateful that they agreed to see me on such short notice. I went to their offices the following day; very nice, very professional, very modern and up to date clinic with some very impressive equipment. I was seen by the assistant, Barbara and the dentist, Dr. Butros Faiud. What a great team! They were so pleasant and accommodating and immediately put me at my ease. The veneer was examined and cleanly adhered back onto my tooth. I am very pleased with the results. The fix is temporary as some of the veneer was chipped and will have to be completely replaced at home, but my smile is back and I couldn’t be happier! Since I come to Ireland annually, I’m going to make Gate Dental my dental practice abroad. I feel very comfortable under their care. Highly recommend

I went in for a scale & polish off Butros today and he was absolutely fantastic. I am not the easiest patient in the world and he’s always so calm & professional and goes above and beyond to explain my treatment plan to me. Butros is great at what he does, would highly recommend

I’ve been going to Gate Dental for years and as someone who once was a particularly nervous patient I cannot recommend them enough.
Dental Hygienist Blaithin is absolutely brilliant and you can expect the same excellent and friendly care from Brian, Mary, Trish, Jeannis, Kathriona, Claire and all the team.

I found this clinic by accident on Google map and was satisfied.
Very nice staff and most importantly there is a Russian-speaking doctor.
Dr. Butros, thank you very much for the treatment and help with the translation. My problem was solved, no unnecessary procedures were prescribed.

I first attended Gate Clinic with an abscess in late September ’24. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have been in the professional hands of Dr Burrows Faiud and his colleagues. I followed on with the hygienist, Blaithín and her assistant Barbara who are also great at their job – consulting with the dental surgeon and his support team whenever any complications arose. I really felt in great hands. Just one word for the ladies at reception:- ‘ great ‘.

Excellent dental practice. I’ve always received brilliant care from the entire staff. I’ve had fillings, inlays and wisdom tooth removal carried out by Brian and cleanings with Blaithin. I’d highly recommend.

I had surgery with Dr Pedro Alsina on the 15th of February and he was amazing. I spent two and a half hours on the chair and felt no pain at any stage. Dr Pedro explained the procedure in detail as he went along and gave me plenty of breaks.
He rang the next day to see how I was and I had his mobile number if I got into difficulties. In my opinion Dr Pedro is efficient, professional and above all an excellent oral surgeon . I would highly recommend him.
The team on reception led by Claire who reassured me on the phone prior to my surgery are kind friendly and knowledgeable.

The dental hygienist Blaithin and her assistant Barbara are a pleasure to attend. Blaithin is excellent and professional in her specialty. She has a very calm reassuring demeanor which instantly helps nervous patients like me relax !!! Her attention to detail is meticulous and she keeps you informed during the procedure which really helps keep anxiety levels low. I highly recommend this clinic as all the staff are pleasant and friendly. I take this opportunity to say Thank You for your care and professionalism with my dental needs to date.

From crossing the threshold, the welcome from the reception, the kindness of Blaithin and her nurse gave me the encouragement that I too, at 63, can have a SMILE. I look forward to my continued treatment with the team at Gate Clinic Galway and I am happy to travel from Limerick to attend this clinic.

Ein abgebrochener Zahn mit einer beginnenden Entzündung ist sicherlich das Letzte was man sich im Urlaub wünscht. Nachdem einige Zahnärzte die Behandlung abgelehnt haben, erklärte sich die Praxis sofort bereit mir noch am selben Tag zu helfen. Der für Nachmittags vereinbarte Termin wurde sogar noch nachträglich auf den Mittag vorgezogen, um eine schnellstmögliche Weiterreise zu ermöglichen. Supernettes Team. Dreadful service I was treated so badly. Was told I was having one dentist he passed me on to someone else to fill my front teeth that filling fell out after 2 weeks. I was supposed to have following up treatment but they never called me. The dental hygienist and her assistant treated me so badly. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely brilliant service. Highly recommend them. Professional and friendly. No sugar coating what needs to be done and make a plan to get all your needs under one roof from emergency care to regular hygienist visits. I moved 40mins from Galway city and changed dentists but came back to get work done. Accommodating appointments the same week unlike waiting 1.5months for next available appointment elsewhere!

Dr Butrus is an excellent dentist. He is very professional, kind and patient. He did two fillings for my daughter and I am delighted with his work. I would highly recommend him Dr. Butrus.

I cannot recommend Gate Clinic highly enough! From the moment I stepped through the door a few years ago, I felt welcomed by their fantastic staff. Dr. Adela provided exceptional service during my orthodontic treatment, and I’m thrilled with the results so far. As I near the completion of my ortho treatment, I’m looking forward to continuing my dental journey with Dr. Pedro Alsina and Dr. Brian Delgado for implants and crown treatment. They are also offering dental treatments under sedation, which is so great. If you’re nervous patient, Dr. Brian Delgado can perform treatments under sedation, providing extra peace of mind.

The clinic is incredibly well-organised and offers a comprehensive range of treatments at reasonable costs. Every member of the dental team is not only highly professional but also takes the time to explain procedures thoroughly and offer invaluable advice. I was particularly impressed by Blaithin, the hygienist, whose years of experience shone through in her gentle and effective cleaning techniques. Despite having sensitive teeth, I felt comfortable throughout the cleaning process and left feeling thoroughly satisfied. I consider myself fortunate to have signed up to a practice as good as Gate Dental Clinic. Both the Dentist and the Hygienist are top notch and explain what they are doing and why clearly so you feel comfortable and confident in their care, The dental assistants and the reception team are friendly, happy, polite and effective. The location is great, I walk in a couple of miles to them and whilst usually appointments are planned ahead when I had something that needed swifter attention they were able to fit me in rapidly which was a great relief. I recently visited Gate Clinic, and I must say Ela’s professionalism and friendliness made a significant difference in my experience. She went above and beyond to assist me in understanding a complicated treatment plan. Ela’s willingness to help didn’t stop there. When she learned that I was unsure about my PRSI entitlements and thought I might not be eligible, she kindly offered to check for me. Despite my initial doubts, she assured me that she would be happy to look into it, and her proactive approach truly impressed me. Dr Adela Dragoi looked after me and is an amazing dentist, I am a nervous patient and she is so gentle, understanding and calming.
The nurse Mrudula was very kind and reassuring too.
Blaithin the hygienist looked after my scale and polish and yet again extremely gentle and thorough.

It’s a lovely and bright, clean clinic. I dealt with Claire and another lady at reception who were very helpful, and Pedro and Patricia were my dental team. They were excellent and very kind.

I am 75 years old. Ever since my teenage years I’ve had a phobia about attending the dentist due to traumatic experiences in the past.
So, it was with a sense of dread, apprension and fear that I attended for my first ever appointment with the Gate Dental Clinic in Galway on the 13 March 2024. Amidst the beautiful décor of the clinic and friendly welcome, I felt at ease right away.
When I was called in for my appointment, the dentist, her assistant, and later the lady who specializes in dental hygiene and her assistant could not have been nicer to me or more professional, quick and efficient at their job.
I came out telling myself ‘Gate Dental Clinic is a little bit of heaven.’ I felt an urge to express that to the two lovely friendly receptionists on duty. I couldn’t have been happier.

Hi, Gate Clinic Galway in Dock Road is a great place to go take care of your teeth.

The team on duty was very professional, gentle, and kind to me.
They explained very well what was going on and what to do in order to keep my teeth healthy. Jeannis was so courteous and very kind. She got me the appointment so quickly and assisted me in filling out the form. Hygienist Blaithin did a great job with my teeth. She took her time and didn’t rush. Nurse Patricia was very attentive and friendly.

The end result was impeccable. They made me feel comfortable while I visited the clinic.

They all showed excellent customer service. I’m definitely coming back soon.
I highly recommend it.

Mrs. Blaithin, the hygienist, helps me a lot giving explanations about what she is doing, why it’s necessary to use care gel or mouthwash. When I came first time, I had problems with my gums. Now, thanks to her, the situation improved.
